Sikkim is a year-round destination, with each season offering a unique experience. Spring (March to May) brings pleasant weather and colourful rhododendron blooms, while autumn (October to November) offers clear skies and spectacular views of Kanchenjunga. Monsoon (June to September) is lush and green but can bring heavy rainfall. Winter (December to February) is ideal for travellers looking to enjoy cold weather and occasional snowfall in higher-altitude areas.

A 4 to 6-day itinerary is ideal for exploring Gangtok and nearby attractions such as Tsomgo Lake, Nathula Pass (subject to permits), Rumtek Monastery, and local sightseeing. If you wish to include North or West Sikkim, we recommend planning a 7 to 10-day trip.
